国际街区挑战赛于2021年发起后，迄今为止已成功举办4届，今年将迎来第5届。该比赛由联合国教科文组织设计之都中国武汉、墨西哥克雷塔罗、美国底特律、巴林穆哈拉格、卡塔尔多哈共同举办。

Now entering its fifth edition, the Street Design Challenge has been successfully held since its inauguration in 2021. This competition is jointly hosted by the UNESCO Creative Cities of Design of Wuhan (China), Querétaro (Mexico), Detroit (USA), Muharraq (Bahrain), and Doha (Qatar).

挑战赛基本信息

Basic Information About the SDC

2025年国际街区挑战赛将于2025年10月4日进行，主题为社区科技未来，旨在探索最新的技术进步为设计工具、环境、应用程序等赋能，并在社区得到可实施的实践。

The 2025 SDC will kick off on October 4, 2025, with the theme "Community Tech Futures". It aims to explore how the latest technological advancements can empower design tools, environments, applications, and other concepts, leading to actionable solutions that communities can implement on a local scale.

在挑战赛期间，由教授指导的大学跨学科学生小组将合作开发提案，以促进外国城市街道上的地方经济和社区互动。参赛团队必须考虑到各种因素，如当地气候、地理、社会经济背景和文化背景，以便创建一个全面有效的城市和文化景观干预方案。

During the challenge, teams of university students, mentored by their professors, will collaborate to develop proposals. These proposals will focus on boosting local economies and fostering community interaction on the streets of a foreign participating city. To create a comprehensive and effective concept for intervention in the urban and cultural landscape, participating teams must consider a range of factors, including the local climate, geography, and socioeconomic and cultural contexts.

每个团队将与另一个参与城市的一条街道配对，听取了当地专家的深入介绍。介绍包括目前的情况，面临的挑战和方案的重点。挑战开始后，参赛队伍将有48小时形成方案并提交，提交的方案需遵循指定格式。

Each team will be paired with a street in another participating city and receive an in-depth briefing from local experts. This briefing will outline the street’s current status, challenges, and key priorities that proposals should address. Once the challenge commences, teams will have 48 hours to develop and submit their proposals in the specified format.

挑战赛重点信息

Key Details of the SDC

挑战赛的主题为社区科技未来。挑战赛持续48小时，从10月4日上午10点开始到10月6日上午10点。比赛开始和结束的时间也会根据参赛队伍当地时间进行调整。

Theme: Community Tech Futures

Duration: 48 hours, running from 10:00 a.m. on October 4 to 10:00 a.m. on October 6. Start and end times will be adjusted to align with the local time of each participating team.

每个高校可组织至少一个跨学科队伍参赛，一个高校可多支团队报名参加，但最终提交作品数量不超过3项。每个队伍由4-6名学生以及1名或2名教授组成。团队须由在校景观设计、城市规划、建筑学等大学生组成。

Team Structure: Each university may organize one or more interdisciplinary teams, and multiple teams from a single university are welcome to register, each institution must select a maximum of three proposals for final submission. Each team should be composed of 4–6 students and 1 or 2 professors. Teams should consist of students currently enrolled in programs such as landscape design, urban planning, and architecture.

May 28: Release of the call for entries to all Creative Cities.

8月13日：创意城市报名截止日

August 13: Deadline for Creative Cities to register.

9月5日：参赛城市提交街区资料截止

September 5: Deadline for participating cities to submit street profiles.

9月19日：团队注册截止

September 19: Deadline for team registration.

10月4日至6日：48小时挑战赛工作坊

October 4–6: 48-hour Challenge Workshop.

11月：颁奖仪式

November: Award Ceremony.
