Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Urban-Rural Development (the "Bureau") shared its work report on intelligent construction at the provincial training session for the housing and urban-rural development system. On September 21, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hubei Province hosted a training session for the housing and urban-rural development system on studying and implementing the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the 7th Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee. Seven organizations, including Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Urban-Rural Development, shared their experience in applying these guiding principles. Wuhan, with Vigorously Advancing Intelligent Construction to Promote Industry Upgrades as the topic, highlighted its progress as a pilot city for intelligent construction with a focus on the rapid development of new quality productive forces for intelligent construction.

The first Intelligent Construction Benchmark Project Competition in Wuhan is officially launched. On September 26, the "Third Bureau Technological Innovation Cup" Intelligent Construction Benchmark Project Competition (the First in Wuhan) officially kicked off. It was jointly organized by Wuhan Construction Industry Association, Trade Union Federation of Wuhan Construction Industry, Jiupai News of the Changjiang Daily, and Hubei Intelligent Construction Industry Cooperation Alliance, with the sponsorship of CCTEB Science and Technology Innovation Company. This competition aims to actively drive the deep integration of the housing and urban-rural development system with advanced manufacturing technologies and new-generation information technologies, thus instilling new vitality into the intelligent construction sector.

The Matchmaking of Digital Economy Scenarios - Intelligent Construction Session is successfully held. With the goal of effectively and accurately matching the supply and demand for digital economy application scenarios while accelerating the adoption and promotion of new technologies and products in Wuhan, on August 23, the Matchmaking of Digital Economy Scenarios - Intelligent Construction Session sponsored by Wuhan Municipal Data Bureau and organized by Wuhan Software Industry Association and Central South Architectural Design Institute was successfully held in the Central South Architectural Design Institute in accordance with the Notice of the General Office of Wuhan Municipal People's Government on Soliciting Open Demands for Digital Economy Application Scenarios. At the event, 12 digital technologies and application outcomes in the field of intelligent construction were presented, including the AI-assisted collaborative architectural design, intelligent construction assisted by the Digital Twin technology for underground spaces, integrated intelligent monitoring and regulatory cloud platform, and smart digital management system for tower cranes. Leaders from relevant organizations, including Wuhan Municipal Data Bureau, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Urban-Rural Development, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban Renewal, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Informatization, Qingshan District Bureau of Housing and Urban Renewal, and Wuhan Construction Industry Association, attended the event.

The XbotPark Intelligent Construction Exhibition Hall in Wuhan is officially opened. On July 10, the Xuntai-XbotPark Intelligent Construction Wuhan Exhibition Hall Inauguration and Strategic Cooperation Ceremony was held at Hubei Xuntai Communication and Electronics Co., Ltd., marking that the XbotPark Intelligent Construction Exhibition Hall in Wuhan was officially opened. Through a series of exhibition boards, live demonstrations, and 3D reconstructions, 15 categories of more than 20 intelligent construction robots, including smart excavators, rebar tying robots, interior wall renovation robots, handheld color 3D scanners, IoT-based digital guiding rules, etc., were introduced to the audience. The opening of the XbotPark Intelligent Construction Wuhan Exhibition Hall will tackle the challenges in the traditional construction industry, speed up the transformation and upgrades of the construction industry, and offer smart solutions for the entire lifecycle of buildings. It will foster new industries, business forms, and models tied to intelligent construction, and build a future of intelligent construction with the unique characteristics of Wuhan.

The expert review meeting for the preliminary round of the 2024 "Wuhan Municipal Cup" Wuhan Construction Industry "BIM+" Intelligent Construction Application Competition is successfully held. On September 13, the expert review meeting for the preliminary round of the 2024 "Wuhan Municipal Cup" Wuhan Construction Industry "BIM+" Intelligent Construction Application Competition was held at the Hubei branch of Glodon Company Limited. The event was jointly organized by Wuhan Construction Industry Association, Trade Union Federation of Wuhan Construction Industry, and Hubei Intelligent Construction Industry Cooperation Alliance. With the theme of "Empowering through Technology, Driving with Innovation, and Creating New Quality Productive Forces in the Construction Industry", this competition highlights the latest developments and real-world applications of BIM and smart construction in the industry. It aims to promote the close integration of intelligent construction with new types of building industrialization, and contribute to the development of intelligent construction demonstration cities nationwide. At the same time, the competition is also dedicated to training a large number of professionals in the field of intelligent construction, helping the construction industry achieve high-quality development.

The solicitation for pilot intelligent construction projects for the year 2024 in Wuhan has been basically completed. In order to accelerate the construction of Wuhan as a pilot city of intelligent construction and promote the industrial, green, and digital transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Urban-Rural Development started seeking applications for pilot projects, companies, and factories (parks) related to intelligent construction in June in accordance with the requirements of the Key Points for Promoting Intelligent Construction Pilot City in Wuhan in 2024. So far, we've received applications for 31 pilot projects, 17 pilot companies, and 2 pilot factories (parks). Next, we will carefully review all the submitted documents, pick out the projects, companies, and factories (parks) that meet the pilot requirements, and add them to the list of pilot projects, companies, and factories (parks) of intelligent construction in Wuhan. The list will then be posted on the official website of Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Urban-Rural Development.

Changsha Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has officially released the Guidelines for Full Process Consulting Services in Intelligent Construction Engineering in Changsha (Trial). The guidelines require that, for the management of full process consulting services in intelligent construction engineering, a project management platform that considers the entire lifecycle, all disciplines, and the full industry chain shall be established. The platform should have features like clear division of participants' roles and responsibilities, a closed loop mechanism for collaborative feedback, real-time monitoring of project status, etc. Participants will be coordinated and urged to implement the predetermined goals and tasks for each stage of the intelligent construction project according to the platform management requirements, ensuring that all participants work together across the full lifecycle, disciplines, and industry chain.
